Things over at MckMama's house seem to be moving along pretty smoothly...well, as smoothly as things can go with 4 kids 3 and under. Check out her blog to see her latest updates on all the McKids.. and if you have time to read her post from yesterday (Sunday) it's awesome! Click on the title of this post to get there!
So as the link says...here I am, being brutally honest, and living to tell about it...
No matter what anyone tells you.................
*I did not watch The Suite Life of Zach and Cody the other night without my children....why would I watch such a childish show unless I had to?
* I did not do a little dance this morning because it is raining here and there is a good chance Nick's flag football game will be cancelled...---I DO NOT NEED A BREAK!

*******UPDATE: I did not just get an e-mail from Nick's coach stating the game is STILL ON! I am so excited that I will not be watching a game in the rain and cold tonight....and I am SUPER excited that on the same e-mail he did not give us the playoff schedule......and while reading about the playoff schedule I did not have the sarcastic thought...he is 5 do we really need a playoff???????
* I did not have withdrawls from "The Biggest Loser" this week...I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Election Returns and did not once feel like throwing up while watching!
* I did not gush with pride at parent/teacher conferences as Alex's teacher told me how smart, well-behaved, and popular he is....I try to keep myself and my first grader grounded!
* I did not giggle even a little bit watching a new mom and dad working to feed and change their two week old at church yesterday---oh the stress---I wouldn't be amused by the fact it took both of them to manuever around this little creature, because I remember what it is like to be a new mom!
*I did not voice my frustration about Obama's election to all who would listen nor make any sarcastic remarks, because I am not a sore loser....isn't that what we are supposed to teach our kids?---I ALWAYS set a good example!
*of course my favorite....there is NO laundry in ANY basket...clean or dirty ...because I did it yesterday!
*and last, I am not secretly hoping that if I keep posting about my laundry that, someone, anyone, will get the hint and HELP ME! HA any takers????

lol- You and I had the same feelings about the election. Ugh.
Hey, I am from McAlester. You and I are almost neighbors..just a hop skip and a jump down the turnpike..
I find myself watching the end of all those disney shows well after my kids have left the building. LOl They are just so cute. I hear you on the election too. cute blog, I am going to follow along.
hehe that was funny. I love the thing about 5-year-old playoffs. I'm with you there.
Yeah, I ended up watching several "Hannah Montana" episodes on Saturday because I was too lazy to change the channel. My husband immediately changed it when he got home. No appreciation...
Love your Not Me's. I am right there with you about the flag football! Also about the Biggest Loser. Why couldn't they just do a split screen or something :) As for the laundry...well, if I ever get out from under mine I'll think about giving you hand...haha!
We should be friends! Our kids are almost EXACTLY the same age, except I have 3 girls and a boy.
What beautiful boys you have! I totally have not done the happy dance when a practice or game gets cancelled either! What kind of mother would do that! Great list..made me lol! ~Stacey
you are so funny!!!!
i myself did not avoid the elusive junk drawer that i said i would clean out for the millionth time...
no capitals in my sentences because i am h olding babies!!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I'm so there with you on the suite life - arrrgggghhh -- and why oh why does sponge bob end up on my tv so often without the midgets here?? I mean really.. a sponge wearing pants and a hat???
Great list! In college I was a nanny and the kids got me hooked on that show. I DO NOT still watch it from time to time...
Ha!! Yay there's no laundry in my house either, I'm always on top of that!!
I hopped on over from My Charming Kids. I can totally understand the flag football thing. I have felt the exact same way with my son's soccer games! And, anyone with 4 kids knows the laundry will never get done. Great post!
Wow! We have A LOT in common, sounds like!! I watch The Suite Life quite often..lol! And I LOVE the Biggest Loser and was VERY upset that I had to watch that crap instead of my show!! I also was complaining about the election up until our preacher talked about it after his sermon and showed a video that made me realize that I need to get over it and realize that it's in God's plan or it wouldn't have happened! (I can't believe I'm saying that after all the ranting and raving I did last week!)
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. And for your comment. I love your boys...adorable. I have 2 and I thought that was hard! Kudos to you! I love the Zach and Cody show...my youngest says...I wanna watch HOTEL...LOL!
Hey, I did NOT also used to wish for games & practices to be rained out. Our season ended just on Saturday, so it's all good till next spring.
oh i so didn't get biggest loser withdrawl either. and i'm not excited it's on tonight. and i've never ever watched any disney show by myself, even when i was on a weekend away with my hubby. no i'd never do that!! :)
I did not almost knock my youngest child into the next room with my too-heavy purse when I turn around suddenly yesterday while getting ready to go out. I'm sure that he didn't suffer brain damage or anything. I don't have plans to clean out my purse today, either. LOL
Ok Elizabeth, I suppose I will delurk and participate in the Not Me Monday fun, although I am a day late.
I most definitely have not been lurking on your blog ever since I found out about it. I also definitely did not make brett read me my shoutout from your blog over the phone because I was at school where they block all blog sites :) (In my defense, he called ME to tell me about it so of course I just had to have him read it out)
Thank you for mentioning me! I love reading about you, nima, and the boys. It makes me feel less disconnected from everything out there.
I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving, as well. I can't wait to see the new house and how big Brian is in real life now, instead of just in pictures. See you then!
