Wordless(ful) Wednesday Makeover #2

Boomer Sooner!
So here is Nick and Nathan's room. As you can see, the boys got involved in this photo shoot. Here is Nathan putting his number one's in the air! I painted the bottom part of the wall green, with a white stripe above for the "sideline" then a red strip above it...the color on top is the original color of the walls...I figured it was close enough to cream, so I left it. My brother painted my nephews room the same way but switched the crimson and cream parts.....so the red part is on top. I didn't do it that way cause I wanted the fathead to show up well. I bought vinyl number and letter stickers along with a blank 8 1/2x11" white vinyl sticker that I cut down to make the yard lines....it was pretty easy that way...I know it took my brother something like 24 man hours to paint and stencil on the yardlines and numbers...always glad to learn from other people's hardships! ☺
Prince Charming obtained a jersey from a real player several years ago during a "yard sale" at OU...I don't think it was a famous player...but we pretend like it was!

The fat head! This one was a little more difficult to put up then A.D.

Ok...so there is a Jack and Jill Jack bathroom between the yellow and purple room and the red, green and cream room......what color should I paint their bathroom????? Do you think it matters? Does it have to go with the other rooms or should I just paint it blue?

I am currently working on a wooden sign that will go above their dresser...It will say "Play Like a Champion Today"....as the OU football players leave the locker room they pass a sign that says this....they all touch the sign as they go past it for Good Luck! There are black and white pictures of old OU football players around this sign....so cool...gotta love tradition!

Nathan is proud of his room!

Nick on the rug.

Their dresser...there is another one in their closet. This one I painted and distressed.

And it wouldn't be complete without a picture of a boy with a helmet on!
Hut Hut!

Absolutely love both of their rooms! My 8 year old is very impressed as well. He thinks their bathroom should be blue, as in Boise State Broncos blue!!! Go BSU! okay, sorry about that, we will be getting some fatheads soon! love it!!

What an incredible room! You did a great job. I love how you figured out vinyl stickers for the yard lines and numbers.

For the bathroom? Maybe a softer green. I think you could almost use anything in there.

That is so funny about UofM being your second favorite school! The Upper Penninsula that is where Shawn and I graduated from college. You are right...it is beautiful there but only in the summer. Winter in the U.P. is rough!

That's so perfect! You have one AD room and one OU room...that's great! I really like the idea of putting up a "Play like a champion today" sign because it has a great meaning!

That is such a great room!! I am not sure how that would work for us. I went to Alabama and my hubby went to Tennessee. The boys all share a room. One cheers for Bama. One Cheers for UT and the youngest boy says he cheers for both. I can just imagine the mix of colors! Aaahh!! I love the room, though! Too fun!!

Awsome. I love the yard-age idea on the lower part of the wall. I did my boys room up a few years ago- with a baseball theme. But your design there is too cool.
